San'tali is an ancient sunken city located within the Jade Sea. Some say it once existed outside of the depths. Currently it is populated by fish folk, who laid claim on the city after it sunk.

Description

Since its sinking, the city has broken apart somewhat- leaving expanses of ocean as well as underwater rivers that are denser than the sea around it and thus has its own "flow". The tritons have built bridges and canals to tie the city back together. Besides just swimming to get to places, which can be incredibly taxing in such a large city, there are undersea gondolas that frequent the watery streets.

History

San'tali was one of the few cities left behind by the old gods. The humanoids that inherited the city quickly succumbed to a greedy, petty, and morally bankrupt way of living that enraged the old gods so much so that they sunk the once glittering city, now tarnished by the bad behavior of its inhabitants. Some say that the city "sunk under the weight of their own sins."

Now the city lies deep the Jade Sea, weathered by the salty water and currents. Currently fish folk inhabit the city, it is where the monarchy established their roots and serves as a capitol of the triton nation.
