Made alongside Draakons by the old gods, these twin races are inextricably connected in Sibyl’s history. They are the most adaptable race.
Physical Description
Humans are an incredibly diverse people. Their skin is naturally toned and has a wide range of undertones. Their hair colors also have a wide range of natural colors.
While any race can potentially procreate with any other race, the pregnancy is not always stable- which can present a load of complications like it not coming to term, or death of the mother and / or infant. Humans are unique in that they can have stable pregnancies with any other race.
Despite their origins, they are not the most magically inclined race. Compared to the ancient and fae races, they are severely lacking. Magical humans are not unheard of but they are rare, as the lifespan of a human is often not enough time to master the powerful magics they are not naturally adept at.
Range and Population
Humans are the fastest growing and most populous race in Sibyl, they can be found on every continent. They are able to adapt and survive in most any environment.
Culture
Humans have no real unified culture and are more known for their ability to assimilate into any community they find themselves living among.
Having been beaten back in their play at power after the Age of Flame, other races can be distrusting and suspicious towards humans- especially when they gather in large groups. They have a reputation for being tenacious and, at times, annoying.
